The Port of Rotterdam Authority plans to construct a new viaduct on the Tweede Maasvlakte: junction G – the Princess Alexia Viaduct. This viaduct is part of the so-called Dune Viaducts and is located on the N15. The N15, which follows the outer contour of Maasvlakte 2, forms the backbone of the area.
Junction G – the Princess Alexia Viaduct – has already been included in the Maasvlakte 2 Master Plan. This grade-separated crossing is intended to provide access to the area around the Alexiahaven, where plots are being developed for various port-related activities associated with deep-sea operations.
For this project, CI-Engineers is responsible for designing the reinforced soil structures at the location of engineering works, as well as the on- and off-ramps. Additionally, CI-Engineers is preparing the drawings for the retaining walls that are part of this project.
