The reconstruction of the N211 Wippolderlaan is being carried out by the contractor consortium Westlandse Entree. This collaborative group of contractors focuses on improving traffic flow, safety, and sustainability in the region. As a key artery between cities and communities, the N211 plays a crucial role in the regional traffic network.
The project includes various interventions, such as road widening, intersection redesigns, and improved bicycle paths. CI-Engineers is primarily involved in the design of the grade-separated intersection on the Wippolderlaan. This includes a depressed layout with a 2×2 lane road of approximately 600m, a prestressed deck, and a floor structure consisting of partly concrete slabs and foil.
