As an Allplan Modeller, you will work on challenging civil engineering projects within the infrastructure sector. You translate technical designs into accurate 3D models and drawings, working closely with structural engineers, designers and other modellers.
As an Allplan Modeller, you are responsible for modelling and technically developing civil engineering structures. Using Allplan, you create accurate 3D models that form the basis for drawings, quantities and further engineering work.
You will work on a wide range of infrastructure projects, such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, quay walls and other civil engineering structures. You will also actively contribute ideas regarding detailing, constructability and smart technical solutions.
Within the project team, you regularly coordinate with structural engineers, designers and other disciplines. This ensures that the design is not only technically correct, but also practical and feasible to construct.
- Creating and developing civil engineering 3D models in Allplan.
- Developing models into technical 2D drawings and details.
- Modelling concrete structures and other civil engineering components..
- Incorporating technical information and design changes into the model.
-Coordinating models and drawings with structural engineers, designers and other disciplines.
-Identifying and resolving interfaces and technical issues.
-Contributing ideas regarding detailing, constructability and practical execution of designs.
-Checking your own models and drawings for quality and completeness.
-Extracting information from models, such as quantities and project data.
-Keeping track of the status and progress of your own modelling and drawing work.
-Working in accordance with applicable project requirements, design guidelines and BIM agreements.
-Proactively communicating deviations, changes and potential improvements.
-Contributing to the further development of knowledge and standardisation of Allplan within CI-Engineers.
You work independently within the agreements and guidelines set by the project lead and are given the freedom to propose technical solutions and improvements.
- At least MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a comparable field.
- Experience with Allplan, or a strong interest in developing your skills in Allplan.
- Experience in modelling and developing technical projects is an advantage.
- You work accurately and have a strong focus on quality.
- Affinity with civil engineering structures and infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical and spatial insight.
- You are analytical, practical and solution-oriented.
- You are able to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- A category B driving licence is preferred.
